We were commissioned to construct a King size quilt for a Christmas 2006 gift. We were told that the quilt would be in the bedroom with brown and lavender. We knew from other relatives that preferred colors included pastels and particularly pink. Gail decided on a log cabin design and picked different fabrics following the initial design using EQ 5 (Electric Quilt v. 5). Further refinements were made to the pattern using the log cabin blocks in 4 different orientations. The finished quilt with 64 blocks was completed in time for Christmas (150hrs+) and shown in a series of illustrations here. Unfortunately the person who commissioned the quilt backed out and the quilt was returned.
