The Why and How of Fabric "Tags" and Block "labels".
The "tags" are what I use when I am first cutting out the pattern, in this case from 20 fat quarters. As I cut the four different rectangles and place them in stacks, I use the fabric tags to identify the various stacks
I have found block labels these useful even for simple quilt designs such as the "Turning 20 Quilt". Here's are some pictures of a full twenty block quilt of this type that I am working on now. Click on thumbnails below for more detailed explanation
